Get Ready for Soulful Klezmer Music
NYC-based Isle of Klezbos approaches tradition with both playful irreverence and deep respect. Celebrating more than 25 years together, this soulful, fun-loving, all-women klezmer sextet has been touring internationally since 1998, with performances spanning from Vienna to Vancouver.
Praised by New York Magazine as “cutting-edge klezmer,” Isle of Klezbos is known for genre-defying performances that blend neo-folkloric roots, reimagined classics, and bold original compositions. Featured by Chamber Music America in both Jazz and World Music categories, the ensemble brings remarkable versatility and innovation to the stage.
